A Call to Pray for Buhari

At a meeting held on Tuesday with party officials, the Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Lafia Local Government Area, Nasarawa State, Alhaji Aliyu Galadima pleaded with Nigerians to pray and support President Muhammadu Buhari and other leaders, so they can succeed in ruling the country.

Nigeria is a great nation and some of our leaders have put in so much effort to ensure things progress in every sector of the economy. Whilst some people may agree with certain decisions the President has made; others may not be in support.

The aim of the meeting was to intimate citizens on the importance of giving our leaders the full support they deserve so the country can move to the next level. Galadima stressed the fact that they need to respect constituted authorities, live in harmony, and be law-abiding citizens. He urged them to support the party in the area, and work as a team.

This is indeed a great call made by the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress because, without the full cooperation of Nigerians, our leaders will not be able to function properly. If we are not united, there will only be chaos and strive in our country.

According to him, the ruling APC in the country will surely make available the dividends of democracy to the rural dwellers: “I want to call on all of us to continue to support the party by working as a team and to support leaders to succeed to take the country to the next level of development.”

If Nigerians can be steadfast in praying, be united as one and believe in President Muhammadu Buhari who has been placed in authority to rule Nigeria, I strongly believe in a few years to come, our country will excel and be one to be reckoned.

But is prayer all we need in Nigeria in order to see the changes we want or do we need much more?
